There Was A Little Turtle...

Just thought you might like to see the bedding we have picked out for Baby Ryan's room. I love the color combination of the baby blue and chocolate brown, plus the cute design is really fun. We will order the rocking chair in a brown fabric to coordinate with the bedding (plus, brown is so versatile, we will be able to coordinate it with most anything in the future). The furniture is scheduled to be delivered to us on Monday, so we will soon be hard at work getting the room ready (with LOTS of extra time to spare...)

Week #23 Update

Since my belly has outgrown all of my normal clothes, I thought that meant it was time for a new belly picture. I have plenty more room to grow in this dress, which is a good thing...I think I will need all of it! I've been feeling pretty good lately, more tired than normal, but not near as tired as the 1st trimester. Baby Ryan is quite active, probably enjoying those somersaults while he still has a lot of space to move around.

Nursery Update

Our furniture has arrived. What happened to the 10-12 week estimated delivery?? This didn't even take 3 weeks! So we have A LOT of work to do to make room for all this new furniture. Scott is thrilled...

IT'S A BOY!!!!

Big news! We will be having a little boy in May!

We had an ultrasound this morning, which went very well (with the exception of my very full bladder!). In the first view we saw of our little boy, he had a big frown on his face. Scott told the technician that he gets that from his father. LOL! It also looks like our baby will have a 'Geis nose' (sorry little guy!).

Overall everything looked very normal and healthy. He appears to be a big boy already...currently weighing in at an estimated 1 pound 5 ounces. The doctor did say that this is really no indication of how big he will be at birth, but that he is on the bigger side at this stage of development.

Baby Ryan's Nursery

Big day today! We bought the furniture for the nursery! Well, most of the furniture. We have ordered the crib, the dresser & hutch and a nightstand. We still have to buy the rocking chair; we have the chair picked out, we just need to make a decision on the fabric. The furniture delivery can take up to 12 weeks, so we wanted to get it ordered early just in case there are any delays. Since the chair can be delivered in 4-8 weeks, we still have some time to make our final decision on fabric.

The other big news is that today marks the halfway point in our pregnancy! Yea! Just 4 1/2 months to go...
