Two at the Zoo!!

We hired Cathy's Critters to help celebrate Jackson's 2nd birthday. We have visited with the Critters before and Jackson absolutely loves them, so we thought it would be a wonderful idea to bring the animals to us. And it was! All the kiddos (even the big kiddos) had so much fun playing with all the animals! Cathy brought a llama, tons of goats, tons of bunnies, chickens, guinea pigs, a couple baby pigs that were just 2 weeks old, a duck, tons of little chicks, and a little baby goose. Jackson had the opportunity to enter the zoo before all of the guests arrived. He was excited and a little overwhelmed. He wouldn't go in without me and he was a little surprised with all the attention from the baby pigs and baby goose. But over time he warmed up and enjoyed petting the bunnies and feeding the goats & the llama. The llama was the best eater...she would take the paper cup from you and lift her head up to pour the food pellets into her mouth, then she would drop the cup on the ground and wait for more. We took a ton of fun pics, I've posted a few of my favorites below. I still cannot believe my baby is two!!

Happy Mommy's Day

I had such a wonderful Mother's Day this year. Jackson was kind enough to let me sleep in! And then he only threw minor tantrums when we went out for brunch and then again for dinner :) All in, he was as close to an angel as he could be. Lots of hugs and kisses and "mommy mommy mommy mommy mommy mommy." He also made me this sweet little card at school:

Bowling

We took Jackson bowling for the first time this afternoon to celebrate Amelia's birthday! It turned out to be a lot more work than what I expected, he didn't quite understand the concept of waiting for his turn and he wanted to chase the balls down the alley. I was able to snap a couple pictures, not the best pics, but you do get to see him in action. I can't wait until he is older and bowling will be more fun than work!

I Wear My Sunglasses...

Here are a couple fun photos from the weekend. We bought Jackson some sunglasses and he loves to wear them! He also likes to take them off and try to put them back on, that doesn't work so well. But all is good as long as he leaves them on his face!And this video is too cute. We watched a replay of the royal wedding on Friday night and Jackson had a blast watching the cars parade to the church. He waved, yelled "hi", and squealed with excitement. I caught a little bit of it on video, but I wish I would have grabbed the camera at the beginning when he was even more excited. Silly guy!
