He Finally Played!

He finally played soccer during a game!  Yay!  It was only for a minute or so, but it was super exciting.  His coach let him do the kick off and he loved it.  But once everyone started playing again he ran off the field upset that the other kids weren't sharing.  Yet another example of how his not yet ready for team sports.

New Mustang

We have a new Mustang.  Jackson loves it!

Girls Night Out

I just love my neighbors!  Such a fun group of ladies!  And our last girls night out didn't disappoint!

September Trip to San Antonio

We had planned this weekend trip to San Antonio to take Jackson to Sea World for the first time.  Unfortunately on the day of our Sea World trip there was really bad weather and they were forced to close.  So we had to find another activity for our very disappointed traveler.  We ended up at the Children's Museum.  At first I wasn't so sure it was worth the price of entry.  But after 30 minutes or so Jackson was right at home and I never thought we would leave.  Here are a few fun photos:

First Day of School 2012

Here is Jackson's first day of school photo.  Now there isn't really anything too new about this day...he is in the same class with the same kids he has been with since April.  He does have two new teachers, and they are implementing a new teaching program.  But I wanted to start the tradition of taking a photo on the first day of school and including some key facts about him.  This will be fun to see how he grows over the years.

Michigan Game

Scott and I went to the Michigan Alabama game at Cowboys Stadium a couple weeks ago.  We had a great time, despite the score.

First Soccer Game

It wasn't much of a success.  There are eight players on his team and they play 10 minute quarters with four players on the field at a time.  Jackson only wanted to be on the field when it wasn't his turn.  When his quarter came up, we were a man down.  He's definitely not ready for organized team sports!
