Obsessed

Jackson has a new obsession...legos.  They are everywhere.  Some fully built, some in disarray, some still in boxes.  He is constantly requesting to build something.  He still needs some assistance to build a new one from the box, but he does pretty good disassembling and attempting to build something new.  Thankfully I enjoy spending time with him putting them together, I just wish they stayed together a little longer after all of that work!

Rock n Roll

I just ran my 4th Dallas Rock n Roll Half Marathon.  The race has been running for 5 years, but that first year I was pregnant so I missed year one.  It is a very fun and well organized race.  Definitely one of my favorites.  I finished right on my time target of 1:44!

Witch

Jackson seems a bit obsessed with witches lately.  Not really sure of the source.  My best guess is the last Shrek movie, but not certain.  Anyways, we find him riding his broomstick occasionally these days:

Paddy Dash 5k

I ran a warm and humid 5k this morning.  It was a fun race, even with the double loop.  I had a decent finish and ended up 1st in my age group.  The award was a very silly hat!
