Racetrack

Jackson loves his extensive collection of matchbox cars.  Today he designed a "racetrack" with them:

Chef Jackson

Jackson attended a birthday party at Young Chef's Academy.  This was our first visit and I wasn't sure what to expect.  It was fabulous.  They have the kids participate in making pizza from scratch then the kids get to eat their pizza and decorate a cupcake.  Jackson has a blast and is now showing an interest in helping in the kitchen at home!

Pre-K

I took a photo of Jackson back in September on his first day of Creme Prep (Pre-K).  And then I took a photo of him this morning.  With the pictures side by side you can see just how much he has grown up during the school year.  He will still be in Creme Prep until late August, but I thought it would be fun to do the comparison now.  Especially since I am sure we will be taking a ton of Kindergarten photos in August!

Sassy

I wanted to take a couple pictures of Jackson before school this morning.  He was excited and willing.  Yet I couldn't get him to stand there without a silly pose.  I asked him what he was doing and he responded "Looking cute mom".  Ok.

Yoga

Today was Jackson's school's summer party.  They have tons of activities available for the kids...water park, soccer, golf, face painting, snacks, dancing and yoga.  Today yoga was the big hit with Jackson.  He did sample the other activities, but we spent a lot of time with the yoga instructor.  It was super cute watching him!

Dinner at Babe's

Babe's is another favorite dinner spot for Jackson.  It's very kid friendly...lots of home cooking, chickens and occasionally singing and dancing waitresses (think hokey pokey).  We don't go very often because it gets crazy crowded and always has a long wait.  Tonight Jackson grabbed the big rocking chair while we waited for our table:
