Happy Mommy's Day
I had such a wonderful Mother's Day this year. Jackson was kind enough to let me sleep in! And then he only threw minor tantrums when we went out for brunch and then again for dinner :) All in, he was as close to an angel as he could be. Lots of hugs and kisses and "mommy mommy mommy mommy mommy mommy." He also made me this sweet little card at school:

Bowling
We took Jackson bowling for the first time this afternoon to celebrate Amelia's birthday! It turned out to be a lot more work than what I expected, he didn't quite understand the concept of waiting for his turn and he wanted to chase the balls down the alley. I was able to snap a couple pictures, not the best pics, but you do get to see him in action. I can't wait until he is older and bowling will be more fun than work!

I Wear My Sunglasses...
Here are a couple fun photos from the weekend. We bought Jackson some sunglasses and he loves to wear them! He also likes to take them off and try to put them back on, that doesn't work so well. But all is good as long as he leaves them on his face!
And this video is too cute. We watched a replay of the royal wedding on Friday night and Jackson had a blast watching the cars parade to the church. He waved, yelled "hi", and squealed with excitement. I caught a little bit of it on video, but I wish I would have grabbed the camera at the beginning when he was even more excited. Silly guy!

Fiesta 2011
We traveled to San Antonio this past weekend for Fiesta. It was a quick trip, with Dad & Diana's Parade Party the key item on the agenda. Jackson has a blast watching the parade, so much so that I am still extremely sore from holding him up to see everything. We took a ton of great pics, here are some of my favorites:

Choo Choo
On the way to swimming last night we had to stop at a railroad crossing for a train. This was the first time Jackson has ever seen a real train. He was pretty amazed by it. It was cute to hear him say "choo choo" over and over again. I caught this one on video:
Go!
The weather was perfect on Sunday afternoon so we spent some time sitting out on the patio. Jackson wanted to be a big boy and sit in a big chair all by himself:
Then a little later we went to the yard to throw the tennis balls. He had a blast running after them! My favorite part was when he would throw the ball and yell "Go!" I didn't get that on video, but I did get a video of him running the length of the yard. I love his little run, too cute!
