Month 8 Update

Jackson turned 8 months old last week, but things have been pretty busy lately so I haven't had the chance to write his update. Here's what Jackson is up to these days:
- He weighs 23 pounds, so he's definitely slowed down on the crazy growth spurts
- He has 4 little teeth (three came in all at once!) - the top two and bottom two. I have no idea which teeth come next, but he sure is acting like he has more teeth starting to push on his gums
- He has become very mobile...will roll completely across the room to get to something he wants, whether that is a favorite toy or the cabinet drawers he really wants to open
- He is still sleeping 12-13 hours at night and 2-3 naps a day. He naps great for us at home, but still isn't comfortable napping at daycare (but that is starting to get a little bit better I think)
- He loves Tiger, gets so excited every time he sees him. Tiger isn't so sure yet, mostly because Jackson doesn't understand the concept of gentle
- He has mastered a new skill...sitting up on his own. This just started a few days ago and he continues to practice over and over, so cute
- He is extremely close to crawling, getting on all fours and rocking, falling forward, or pushing himself back to sitting.
